About Department
The Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, is situated within the main campus of Rajiv Gandhi University at Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in 2020. The department is currently focused on offering the B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture degree program, which has been admitting students since 2020. Additionally, the department started offering M.Sc. (Genetics and Plant Breeding) and Ph.D. (Genetics and Plant Breeding) programs from the academic session 2024-2025.
